Dan became lead pastor at NHBC on March 6, 2011. Becoming lead pastor was a homecoming for Dan and his family. Before leaving New Heights in 2005 to accept a position as associate pastor at another church, Dan, his wife Gwen and their family were long time members of NHBC. While a member of NHBC Dan served as Chairman of Deacons, Children’'s Minister and Director of Missions. Dan says, "My goal, first of all, is to bring Christ to those who do not know Him, and then to inspire, assist and encourage every member to find their place of service in the body of Christ. My desire for both myself and New Heights is to make much of Christ. This truly is a special place where every member can be a minister. Our mission as a church is to "Connect, Grow and Serve." Connecting others to Christ and each other, Growing through discipleship, and to Serving others with the love of Christ."
Toby is new to New Heights but not new to the Lord's service. He has been in service with youth and children for close to 20 years. He joins our family with his wonderful wife Joanna, and 4 lively children (Aiden, Adalyn, Asher, and Axton). If you could sum up his focus of ministry it would be: Love God, Love others. His goal is to train up the next generation of Christian servants, by example and equipping them to face the challenges that life brings. Toby does this by making much of Jesus and sharing the good news that He loves everyone and that God wants a personal relationship with them, no matter where they are in this life.

Wayne was saved through an incredible act of God in 1985 at the age of 22 and he loves sharing his story. He was called into the ministry in 1986 and has served in various areas of ministry since. In 2002 he became the Sunday School Director at New Heights. Working with the pastor and attending Southern Baptist Sunday School Seminars created a passion in his heart for Sunday School and Small Group Studies. Wayne believes that Sunday School is one of the most effective means of connecting people to Jesus and each other and of bringing growth through discipleship in people's lives. He also believes that it is a great way to grow church members into places of leadership and to help them plug into areas of service. Sunday School can be a place where believers can connect with God’s Word, God’s people, and God’s Mission. In 2011 Wayne's role as Sunday School Director was expanded to Minister of Education. This role includes all areas of Bible study, small group studies, and educating God’s people to carry out the Great Commission.
Bryon and Missy asked Jesus to become their Lord and Savior during VBS. Bryon was 9 and Missy was 12. This has given them a desire and a passion for working with and ministering to young children. Bryon and Missy have been actively serving in the Children's Ministry at NHBC since 2003 and became the Children's Directors in 2008. From teaching basic bible stories to applying the deeper truths of the bible Bryon and Missy are honored to be involved in ministries to children by helping them grow and gain knowledge in God's Word.
It is their prayer that all children come to know the Lord. " Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them..: Matthew 19:14.
