HISTORY

New Heights was established in 1987 and had its first official Sunday service in September of that year. 

It is because of the hard work, dedication, faithfulness and sacrifice of many members that we are blessed with the church campus that exists today. The gathering has grown through the years and we are seeing lives constantly being changed for the glory of God. 

While we have a great history, we look to the past only to give glory to God for the great things that He has done. Our eyes and our focus are on the future and the wonderful things that are ahead. New Heights is a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention.

We BELIEVE

  • In the infallible Word of God, and that the Bible is His Word spoken through the Holy Spirit to the many authors of the books.
  • In the divine intervention of God in our everyday lives. 
  • That God knows each of us by name, and that He desires to see each of us  serving and worshiping Him. 
  • Jesus is the Son of God, born of  a virgin. That He died for our sins and that He rose again on the third day, in fulfillment of the Scriptures. 
  • That Jesus' blood ​washed away our sins, and that the only way to Heaven is through  accepting the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for each of us personally.​ 
  • A person must be "born again" in order to attain salvation, and  that salvation does not come through works it only comes by the gracious gift of a merciful God. 
  • In serving our  community, our nation, and our world so that the message of the Savior  may be known through all the lands. 
  • New Heights Baptist church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Our vision at New Heights can be defined by three words...Connect, Grow, and Serve. We are committed to connecting people to Jesus and to others, growing through discipleship, and serving locally, nationally, and around the world spreading the love of Jesus and bringing light into dark places.
